Hi- my name is Amy and I am the mom of a recovered 15-year-old daughter named Trinity. Trinity battled her eating disorder for almost 3 years. That may seem short to some of you and long to others.
After 20 days in Tampa General Hospital, 92 days in Clementine (GA) inpatient and another almost 3 months in Veritas (GA) outpatient, Trinity came home and completed months of therapy and continued to fight her ED.
I know the struggle. I know the sleepless nights. I know the ache. I know the hopelessness.
There was nothing like our celebration to give me hope. No brochures of success, only gloom and a dark future for her.
